Itinerary

Meet & Greet /Flight to Mfuwe in South Luangwa National Park

On arrival in Lusaka at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport Meet & Greet by our representative, assist you with the luggage then show you to the domestic flight check-in desk for your flight to Mfuwe in South Luangwa National Park and the flight takes about 1hr10min. When you arrive at Mfuwe Airport the guide /driver from Thornicroft Lodge will welcome and assist you with luggage and transfer you to Thornicroft Lodge where you will spend your first 2 Nights of your unforgettable Zambia safari experience. Arrive and Check in and then depending on your arrival time you will go on an afternoon/night game drive which starts around 4 Pm – this activity starts with the afternoon and when it gets dark you will concentrate on nocturnal animals with the help of the spotter will be holding a flashlight looking for animals then you will be getting back to the lodge in time for dinner.

Game Viewing in South Luangwa National Park

Today your day will start with morning Breakfast, then a morning activity will follow which will be a Game drive or a walking safari leaving the camp around 06:30 and returning around 10:30 in time for Lunch. Then free time to relax and later its afternoon tea around 15:30  then A night Game drive will follow and you will be coming back around 7:30 PM in time for dinner and bed.

Depart Thornicroft Lodge/Flight to Lusaka

Morning Breakfast and depending on your flight time to Lusaka you may leave after the morning game viewing activity. But should your flight be early in the morning you will be taken to the airport after breakfast. 1hr:10 mins Flight to Lusaka and on arrival, you will be met by our representative who will assist you with your luggage and take you a 3 hours adventurous transfer through the city of Lusaka which is also one way of exploring this country capital city. When you get to Kiambi Lodge check-in and depending on arrival time you will have lunch then relax enjoy the view of the river and facilities.
